About Us
Background
Basing on the raising number of school dropouts due the insufficient funds to pay for school fees and scholastic materials, OFVU was started to help the most vulnerable and marginalized children so that they can attain quality education and become responsible citizens of Uganda.
The director (Rev. Fr. Robert Mutyaba) having grown up through a hard experience and he having seen what vulnerable children go through, he was inspired to start OFVU in 2016 to help the most vulnerable children in Mityana and elsewhere. Opportunity For The Vulnerable Uganda started with taking care of 5 children and the organisation is currently taking care of 20 children. We support the vulnerable as we help them have education in primary schools, secondary schools and tertiary institutions.
